If you can see this, you're probably already a member of the LinkedIn user group created a few years ago. We decided that LinkedIn didn't really give the flexibility required for an on-line community like this, so have created this portal.

As the site develops, we hope to provide specialized areas for Telcos, service providers, the corporate marketplace, plus areas where people can learn and confer about the players in the field: the venerable (sometimes hoary?) grand-daddies, the bright sparks, and up-and-coming offerings from the open-source world.

As a starter, we'll post a questionnaire for you to ask for the subject areas you are most interested in. As a starter, here are some of the initial forum ideas that come up:
